Picture framing is a learned skill, a craft handed down at U Frame It & The Poster Annex from generation to generation. As our industry and our shop have evolved from the mid 70's to the present, so has our experience in dealing with any framing situation.
Together our staff has over 40 years experience.
We don't see too many things that stump us. Mass merchandisers and "basement framers" have neither the facilities or experience to handle even the basics of preservation framing
or other advanced framing situations. Also we are pleased to have Erie's only
Certified Picture Framer on staff to ensure the best possible results now, and 50 years from now.

This piece was 10 1/2 feet wide- we mounted it to foamboard
(had to attach 2 pieces together) and laminated it and used a metal frame
that came big enough. |

This was a puppet one of our customers brought back from
Thailand. It was suspended from the top inside of the frame with
brass strips. The frame is 3 1/2 inches deep and the inside is lined with
red suede matboard. |

This was a large portrait of a bicycle which was done for a house near
the Kahkwa Club. The outside dimension was 40 by 52 and it needed to be
hung high on a wall in the entryway.
